First, Bowman Photographic correlates our densitometer to a Kodak master in Rochester, NY. This ensures that our readings are accurate and consistent with Kodak aims. Then, we process KODAK Q-LAB Audit Strips which are used to optimize the aims of control strips with a nationwide standard. But the quality effort doesn't stop there, Bowman Photographic monitors the concentration of our chemicals and uses specially designed Kodak Chemical tests to regularly analyze our Process E-6 solutions to ensure they are at optimum performance levels. After the process is found to be mechanically and chemically accurate, a control strip is run to confirm process performance. To maintain our qualification in the KODAK Q-LAB Process Monitoring Program, we must also periodically process and send KODAK Q-LAB Audit Strips along with the results of our mechanical and chemical tests to Kodak for evaluation.
